| Hot topic: What's your monthly food expense?
"I often get criticized for eating out so much. But I'm a vegetarian and only eat at inexpensive places. Hubby and I, along with our 1 year old spends approx. $400 a month on eating out and $150 per month on groceries. I personally don't think $400 for eating out is all that bad, since it lowers our grocery bill significantly. It also reduces our time of dishwashing along with the electricity of dishwashing and dish soap purchases. It's also our form of entertainment in a sense. We only eat at places where we can get healthy options for the most part. Are we that crazy? and how much do you all spend for your monthly groceries and eating out?
